The Phoenix municipal courses are popular choices for city residents and many daily fee courses can be played for similar green fees. Other nearby desert gems include the well known SunRidge Canyon Golf Club that was ranked as a Top 50 “You Can Play” by GOLF Magazine in 1996 and is a past host of the USGA National State Championship. The famous Red Rocks of Sedona are a great backdrop for the Sedona Golf Resort located about 90 minutes North of Phoenix. Although open all year, spring through fall offer the best times to golf in this Northern Arizona destination.
